Shajzha Station project in Jiangsu Province is the fifth stage pumping station of "South-to-North Water Diversion" and the fourth stage pumping station of "north-to-North River diversion", which has many functions such as irrigation, water supply, flood control, drainage and power generation. The project is composed of pumping station, control gate and supporting buildings, among which the pumping station plays an important role in guaranteeing industrial and agricultural production, shipping, environmental protection and regulating the water level of Luoma Lake in Xuzhou area. The pumping station uses the excess waterlogged water upstream for reverse power generation in the wet season. The control gate mainly undertakes the task of discharging part of the waterlogged water in Huangdunhu area, and serves as one of the flood diversion channels of Luoma Lake at an appropriate time.
