On November 16, the main pump and motor equipment contract signing of Shaji pump station reinforcement and renovation project was held in Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, and SEC Motor attended the meeting as the main motor manufacturer.

Project profile

Located on the Xuhong River in Shaji Town, Suining County, Jiangsu Province, Shajzha Station is the fifth stage pumping station of "South-to-North Water Transfer" and the fourth stage pumping station of "North-to-North River Transfer". The project adopts the layout of gate station, the middle of which is the pumping station with a pumping flow of 50m3/s. The 1800HD-10.5 vertical mixed-flow pump is installed with 5 sets of synchronous motors, with a single motor power of 1600kW and a total installed capacity of 8000kW. At the same time, it is equipped with a set of variable frequency generator set for reverse power generation in the wet season. It has many functions such as irrigation, water supply, flood control, drainage and power generation.

The project was completed in 1993, has been running for nearly 30 years, the main water pump aging seriously. In order to fully eliminate safety hazards and give full play to engineering efficiency, the renovation project is strengthened according to the original scale, and the design flow of the pumping station is still 50m3/s, with 5 installed sets and a single design flow of 10m3/s.

Through the bidding of Jiangsu Public Trading Center, SEC stood out among many motor suppliers in the procurement bidding of the motor and its auxiliary equipment with reasonable motor structure, scientific cable entry and exit orientation, complete auxiliary system layout and system installation, commissioning and trial operation schemes. Won the Shaji pumping station reinforcement and reconstruction project construction Department bid evaluation experts unanimously praised. In addition, in order to help the South-to-North Water diversion project, SEC solemnly promises to provide lifelong quality assurance services for this project.

The renovation project is another milestone on the east line of the South-to-North Water Diversion project after the reinforcement and renovation project of the Lioujian Pump Station and the Siyang second Station. In the future, SEC will inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of national water conservancy projects with better quality, faster delivery and more satisfactory service.
